When you place an order, you expressly declare that you have read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale. It's not the most fun part, but it's important. So take the time to read these few lines. The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all distance selling contracts concluded between a private consumer (you) and Sekoya SA (us). They determine the rights and obligations of each party to the contract. Sales to professionals are excluded.
PRODUCT FEATURES & PRICES
At Sekoya, we continuously improve our products and regularly update packaging to reflect regulatory changes. Product features and availability, as well as the representations displayed on our website, are non-binding and are provided for informational purposes only.
The prices of the items you are charged are those in effect on the date of your order. They are listed on your order confirmation sent by email or communicated to you verbally by phone. Prices always include VAT.
ORDERING & CONFIRMATION
After placing your order on the sekoya.swiss website, over the phone or in writing, you shall receive an order confirmation by e-mail, verbally or in writing. This means your order has been logged and acts as your sales contract.
DELIVERY
A contribution towards shipping and packaging costs is indicated when the order is confirmed and is invoiced at the same time as the products. Orders are prepared and shipped within 48 hours. The standard delivery time within Switzerland is 3 business days.
We work closely with our shipping partners, but we cannot guarantee their services and cannot be held responsible for delivery problems, delays, or lost packages.
If the products delivered do not match your order, or if a product is damaged or opened⁽¹⁾, please contact us immediately. You must not use the product(s) in question.
⁽¹⁾ Bottle: seal detached or torn / Box: blister pack missing or perforated.
RIGHT OF RETURN
At Sekoya, if you change your mind, you can return the products to us intact and at your own expense within 14 days of receiving your order. To ensure your return is properly recorded, please use the form on the back of the letter accompanying your order. We do not accept returns and do not return products that have been opened, are on sale, or are received after the deadline. You are responsible for providing proof of the return date.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT
If you did not pay for the products when you placed your order, you will receive the products with an invoice. You then have 30 days from the date of issue of the invoice to pay.
If you are late in paying and, after a first reminder at no charge, we are obliged to send you a formal notice, we will charge you the equivalent of CHF 10 for additional costs. If you remain in default of payment following the formal notice, your file will be transferred to a debt collection agency, which will charge you a minimum administrative fee of CHF 20. All amounts not paid by the due date will be increased, automatically and without formal notice or reminder, by a fixed penalty of 7.5% of the amount due. Statutory interest is also payable on the unpaid amount from the due date, automatically and without formal notice.
RETENTION OF TITLE
The products remain our property until full payment has been received.
DATA PROTECTION
The data we collect when you subscribe to our newsletter, as well as when you place orders and make payments, is used exclusively for the marketing of our products and is not passed on to third parties under any circumstances. As such, we strictly apply and comply with the new Federal Data Protection Act of September 1, 2023 for customers located in Switzerland, and with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (GDPR) for customers located in Europe.
CHANGES
Sekoya reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time and without prior notice. Each new version of the general terms and conditions of sale replaces the previous version, thus rendering it null and void.
