Optilux® is a comprehensive formula designed to support visual acuity and protect the eye’s structures. It combines two clinically evaluated, patented extracts:Mirtoselect® andFloraGlo®. Blueberry extract, standardized for anthocyanosides, is traditionally used to protect capillaries and support retinal metabolism, particularly in low-light conditions. We have added lutein and zeaxanthin, extracted from marigold flowers, to the formula.
These carotenoids are naturally concentrated in the macula, where they filter high-energy wavelengths from the blue spectrum and help preserve the integrity of retinal photoreceptors. This action is complemented by a targeted supply of zinc, selenium, and naturally derived vitamins, which help maintain normal vision and protect cells against oxidative stress, as part of a nutritional approach tailored to modern visual demands and the aging of the eye.
- Take 2 capsules daily with a meal and a glass of water. Combine with Omega 3+ for enhanced effectiveness.

Is this formula suitable for smokers?
Yes. Optilux does not contain beta-carotene.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin:
Two carotenoids that the body does not produce and that are concentrated in the macula, where they form the macular pigment. They absorb some of the blue light and neutralize free radicals.
Blueberry anthocyanosides:
Flavonoid pigments responsible for the blue-violet color of blueberries, which are among the most extensively studied plant antioxidants. Research suggests they play a role in capillary microcirculation.
