Lactobacillus helveticus

The bacterium Lactobacillus helveticus is not particularly gastro-resistant and only a small proportion of them arrive alive in the intestine. To renforce the immune system, this is not a problem as the mere sight of empty bacterial envelopes is already enough to motivate the immune cells.
