Citrus grandis Osbeck is the grapefruit tree native to India, the citrus variety richest in total flavonoids. Sekoya extract is obtained by the slow percolation of grapefruit seeds. This unique, gentle technique concentrates and preserves all the active ingredients.
Citroflavonoids, specific to citrus fruit, are responsible for the characteristic bitterness of grapefruit (juice, peel and seeds). Added Citrus paradisi essential oil and vitamin C help boost the immune system.

What role do citroflavonoids play in the body?
Citroflavonoids act directly on certain microorganisms, such as bacteria, yeast, and mold, by disrupting their cell membranes and inhibiting their growth. At the same time, they support the body’s natural defenses, helping it respond more quickly when external pathogens are present.
Why use grapefruit seed extract instead of just grapefruit juice?
Juice and extract are not comparable. Juice contains flavonoids, but in varying and diluted amounts—approximately 60 to 250 mg per 3-deciliter glass, according to studies. The seeds naturally contain higher amounts. The extract therefore provides a precise amount of these compounds—in this case, 14 mg per 2 ml—without being subject to variations in the fruit.
How long does it take to feel the effects?
The effect depends on the level of exposure and the state of the immune system at the time of ingestion. If the body is already under significant stress, it takes several days to reduce the burden and restore balance.
