Can Prostenol be taken as a preventive measure?
After age 40, the prostate gradually enlarges and can compress the urethra, which slows the flow of urine and causes more frequent urges to urinate, especially at night. Prostenol works by helping to limit prostate enlargement and inflammation of the prostate tissue.
How long does it take to see results?
Prostenol works gradually on the prostate. The first changes, such as improved urinary comfort or fewer nighttime awakenings, may appear after a few weeks. A three-month course of treatment allows time for the plant-based active ingredients to take effect on the prostate tissue and hormonal balance.
What role do phytosterols play in maintaining prostate health?
Phytosterols act on a mechanism involved in prostate enlargement, which is linked to the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. By modulating this process, they help reduce the pressure the prostate exerts on the urethra. When this pressure decreases, urine flows more easily, which reduces the frequent urge to urinate and difficulty emptying the bladder.

Phytosterols:
Phytosterols are plant sterols structurally similar to cholesterol. They compete with cholesterol for absorption in the intestine. These lipid compounds play a role in regulating steroid metabolism.
Lycopene:
Lycopene is a fat-soluble carotenoid found in tomatoes. It accumulates in prostate tissue. It interacts with reactive oxygen species in this tissue.
Florida Palm Extract:
Florida palm extract, derived from the fruit of Serenoa repens, acts on the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT. It reduces the impact of this conversion on the prostate. This extract targets the hormonal mechanisms of the prostate.
