Harpagophytum is a creeping plant that grows wild in southern Africa. It is traditionally used there to relieve joint pain. Its name comes from the Latin word Harpagophytum, which means "plant harpoon", because its little spurs cling to anyone who comes near it. This particularity has also earned it the nickname of devil's claw.
This food supplement contains an extract dosed with harpagosides, the active ingredients found in the tuber of the plant. Its consumption contributes to the mobility and flexibility of the joints. We recommend using it for periods not exceeding 30 days to avoid the risk of acidification, and then alternating with another preparation such as Pernadol® or Turmeric & Piperine.
- 2 capsules per day. Swallow 2 capsules with morning or midday meals and a glass of water. In the event of acute inflammatory flare-ups, take 4 capsules a day in a single dose for up to a week.

In our experience, prolonged use can acidify the joint environment, thereby reinforcing degeneration. -
