Body acidity can be easily detected with this home test. Just a few drops of saliva or urine on a reagent paper strip, and after a few seconds the result appears. If the body pH falls below 6.2, it is advisable to take action to eliminate excess acidity and restore acid-base balance.

In order for you to be able to perform this test with confidence, Sekoya has selected a reagent paper that allows for easy and accurate reading of the results.

    • Collect morning urine or saliva in a container. Immerse the entire staining field in the urine or saliva for 1 second. Remove the strip from the container, discarding any excess liquid. After 1 minute, compare the staining fields on the strip with the colorimetric scale on the box and record the value.
    • It's essential to repeat this operation twice a day, on rising and at bedtime, for around ten days. The average values obtained during this period indicate the presence or absence of acid overload.

To preserve the nutritional richness of these food supplements, store them in a cool, dry place, away from light. Do not exceed recommended daily doses, and keep out of reach of young children. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

What is the pH test used for?

The pH test measures acid-base balance using saliva or urine. An average pH below 6.2 over several days often indicates an acidic overload linked to diet, stress, or low intake of fruits and vegetables. This test serves as a simple guide to determine whether lifestyle changes or supplementation are warranted.

Is the test reliable for home use?

The reliability of the test depends on taking measurements both in the morning and at night for about ten days, and then calculating an average. This method is commonly used in functional nutrition to monitor trends in acid-base balance, without claiming to provide a medical diagnosis.

How should we interpret the results in practical terms?

An average pH level between 6.5 and 7 indicates a balanced internal environment. A pH level consistently below 6.2 suggests excessive acidity that the body struggles to buffer. This can lead to fatigue, muscle tension, or digestive issues. In such cases, it is advisable to adjust your diet and consider appropriate alkalizing solutions.

Why is the Sekoya pH Test safe?

Sekoya has selected a reactive test strip that provides clear and accurate readings, designed for repeated use. The color scale makes interpretation straightforward and unambiguous. The pack of 50 strips allows for long-term monitoring—before, during, and after a rebalancing phase—to objectively track changes in the body’s condition.
