Green-lipped mussels (Perna canaliculus)

Green-lipped mussels ( Perna canaliculus ) are a species farmed in New Zealand. They are unique in that they contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, known for their natural anti-inflammatory properties, as well as natural glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which support normal cartilage function and regeneration.
