Chlorella is a freshwater microalgae and an excellent source of phytonutrients and essential amino acids. Its deep green colour reminds us of its high concentration of chlorophyll. Taken regularly, it contributes to good liver health and promotes digestive metabolism.
To increase its action, our preparation is enriched with selenium to contribute to the proper functioning of the immune system, and chromium to support the normal metabolism of nutrients.

A lake algae, chlorella contains virtually no iodine and very little sodium. Consequently, it does not lend itself to the classic contraindications of seaweed.

How does chlorella remove pollutants?
Chlorella has a cell wall rich in sporopollenin, a fiber capable of binding to certain heavy metals (mercury, cadmium, lead) in the digestive tract. These metals are then naturally eliminated in the stool, without entering the bloodstream.
Isn't there a risk that chlorella itself contains heavy metals?
To ensure a quality suitable for use as a dietary supplement, chlorella is grown in bioreactors. This cultivation method ensures that the chlorella is free of contaminants and intact, capable of binding toxins in the body without introducing any of its own.
Why add selenium and chromium to chlorella?
When chlorella binds to and mobilizes certain compounds, the body may produce more free radicals. Selenium is a component of antioxidant enzymes that neutralize these free radicals and protect cells. Chromium improves the cells’ utilization of glucose, which helps maintain stable blood sugar levels during this phase.
What is the main difference between chlorella and spirulina?
Spirulina is primarily a source of protein, iron, and micronutrients that support energy and vitality. Chlorella aids in detoxification thanks to its cell wall, which is rich in sporopollenin and binds to certain unwanted compounds in the intestine.
